THE MILESTONE EXPERIENCE
Milestone sessions take place in my light-filled, purpose built studio and are guided gently, allowing your baby to explore at their own pace.
Every detail is considered — from styling and colour palette to the way the session unfolds — ensuring your images feel cohesive, timeless, and beautifully aligned with the rest of your gallery.
Whether your little one dives straight in or approaches the cake with quiet curiosity, the session is led calmly and without pressure, capturing authentic expressions and natural moments.

Cake smash sessions are best booked 6–8 weeks before your baby’s first birthday to ensure availability and allow time for image delivery.

Yes — cakes are sourced through my trusted cake supplier and thoughtfully styled to complement your session. Please let me know of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking. Additional costs may apply for specialised requests.

Sessions are unhurried and baby-led, allowing time for your little one to settle, explore, and engage naturally. Most sessions last around 45–60 minutes.

That’s completely okay. Every baby responds differently, and there’s no expectation for how your child “should” interact. Some explore enthusiastically, others observe quietly — both result in beautiful, authentic images.

Yes. Handcrafted heirloom albums are available and highly recommended as a timeless way to preserve this milestone. Many families choose to include their cake smash images alongside maternity and newborn photographs for a complete first-year story.

You’re welcome to use items from my curated client wardrobe, or bring a simple outfit of your own. I recommend neutral tones and minimal styling to ensure the focus remains on your baby and their expressions.
